This handy pocket knife keychain is created using flowers from your special event or in honor of a life lived. The handle of the pocket knife is created from actual flower petals. It’s the perfect mix of a memorial piece and masculinity.
This listing is for one Funeral Flower KeyChain. The photos shown are just representations of designs I have made for other customers.
Each pocket knife handle requires 4-6 petals of the colors you want represented in your final bead. I can combine up to 3 colors to create your knife handle. The final color of your keychain knife handle will be indicative of the colors you send. I do have some color additive that can be added to brighten the beads if your flowers have faded over time.
Flowers can be sent fresh or previously dried. I do use a specific way to dry flowers that does allow me to preserve the colors. Please clip off any wet part of the stem, wrap the flowers or petals in dry paper towel or old gift tissue paper to protect them during transit. All packing material should be dry to prevent molding of the flower petals. Please do not use plastic bags or bubble envelopes as they do cause the flowers to mold prematurely.

Do my flowers or petals need to be dried prior to shipping them to you?
I use a special process to dry flowers and petals that helps preserve the color of the blooms. I prefer to dry them myself so that I can ensure that the flowers are in the best possible condition.
How many petals are needed to make Remembrance Beads?
I need 4-5 petals of the bloom colors that the customer wants represented in the bead. I can make beads with less, they will just be smaller in size.
Can you use flowers or petals that are already dried?
Yes! I have great success using previously dried flowers to create Remembrance Candles and Remembrance Jewelry. If the colors have faded I can often times add a color enhancer or additional petals to create the desired end result.
What size bulb should I replace the light kit with?
Light kits for Petite or Small Candles should only be replaced with 4/5 watt bulbs. Medium or Tall Candles should only be replaced with 7 watt bulbs. If you replace the bulb with a higher wattage bulb, it can cause damage to the candle.
Do Remembrance Candles have a wick or burn away?
The Remembrance Candles that I create are hurricane style. The Candles do not contain a wick. They use a fuel cell or a light kit that is similar to a night light. An LED battery powered light can also be used.
Can you make Remembrance Candles or Remembrance Jewelry with ashes?
